It was an honor to create a set of professional portrait photography for violinist Daniel Hope on behalf of the Savannah Music Festival.
Grammy-nominated and multiple ECHO Klassik prize winner, British violinist Daniel Hope (Savannah Music Festival Associate Artistic Director) has toured the world as a virtuoso soloist for many years, and as the youngest ever member of the Beaux Arts Trio during its last seven seasons. He began his relationship with the Savannah Music Festival in 2004 at the personal invitation of the festival’s Executive & Artistic Director, Rob Gibson. Hope is renowned for his musical versatility and creativity and for his dedication to humanitarian causes. Hope performs as soloist with the world’s major orchestras and conductors, directs many ensembles from the violin, and plays chamber music in a wide variety of traditional and new venues. Favoring an eclectic and unusual repertory spanning the realms of traditional and contemporary classical music, jazz and various ethnic sources, Hope imbues his performances with noble, thoughtful imagination and meticulous craftsmanship.
